Welcome back!
I hope you’ve had a wonderful summer! We are very excited to welcome our Husky students back to school next week.
First Day of School: Wednesday, September 3
Bell Times:
Start: 8:30 a.m.
End: 3:00 p.m.
Morning Supervision & Drop-off:
Supervision begins each day at 8:15 a.m. on both the main yard and the kindergarten yard. Please drop your child off at one of the following spots:
Late Arrivals:
If your child arrives after the 8:30 bell, please come to the front doors and ring the door bell, to sign them in at the office. Students will then walk to class on their own or with a staff member. For safety and to minimize disruptions, parents/guardians are asked not to enter hallways or classrooms during the school day unless you have a pre-arranged appointment.
First Day Support:
On the first day, staff wearing high-visibility vests will be outside to assist families. They will have class lists and can help direct your child if they are unsure who their teacher is.
Stay Connected:
More details will be shared in the coming week. Please check your email regularly for updates and important information.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me at amanda.coulombe@ugdsb.on.ca or call the school office.
We look forward to a great start to the school year!
