Grade 9 Orientation Day
We are excited to welcome the Class of 2030 to Westside Secondary School!
Students entering Grade 9 are invited to join us for Grade 9 Orientation Day:
Tuesday, September 1, 2026
8:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Westside Secondary School Gym
This is a great opportunity for students to:
Learn what to expect as they begin high school
Meet staff and student leaders who will support their transition to high school
Tour the school and become familiar with the building
Learn about school spirit, activities and opportunities
Pick up their timetables
Enjoy a slice a pizza with their fellow grade 9's
Parents/Caregivers:
You are invited to attend an optional Question & Answer Session at 9:00 a.m. in the Library Learning Commons.
This will not be a formal presentation. Instead, it is an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about your student’s transition to high school at Westside.
