Survey to request change between in-person and remote learning (Oct. 14-21)

The first transition date for switching between remote and in-person learning modes is November 16, 2020, at the start of quadmester 2. The next opportunity to switch between learning models will be before the start of the next quadmester. To view the quadmester calendar, please visit the board website.
To request a change for secondary students, parents/guardians/students must complete the following survey form between October 14-21. The deadline to complete the survey is Oct. 21 at 4pm.
- A link to the survey will be posted on Oct. 14 at www.ugdsb.ca/survey.
The survey provides secondary students with two options:
- I want to switch to Remote Learning for November 16.
- I want to switch to In-Person Learning at my home school for November 16.
Only those parents/guardians/students who want a change are to complete the survey. If a survey form is not completed by the closing date, the student’s current learning mode status will remain.
Families who are unable to access the online survey should call their home school for assistance between Oct. 14 and 21.
All families who complete the Intent to Change Survey will receive more information before the transition date of November 16, 2020.
