Important COVID 19 Update
Today, a positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed by Public Health at Wellington Heights. If students or staff are considered high-risk contacts by Public Health, they have already been contacted tonight by phone and by email to inform them. All high-risk contacts have been directed by Public Health to stay at home tomorrow and to self-isolate.
A School Case Information letter from Public Health has also been sent to all students and staff by email. Attached to this posting, you will find a copy of the letter, which contains important information about next steps for all students and staff.
This evening, classrooms and washrooms at the school have received additional cleaning and sterilization. Tomorrow, Public Health will be contacting all high-risk contacts to determine the level of risk, and to advise those contacts of next steps.
Students who have not been identified as high-risk contacts are welcome to return to school tomorrow, and are reminded to continue to self-screen for symptoms of COVID-19 each morning, and to follow all COVID-19 protocols.
