Semester 2 information for UGDSB secondary schools

Semester 2 Begins Remotely
As communicated previously, UGDSB schools will continue with temporary remote learning until further notice.
As such, secondary students who previously were attending school in-person will begin Semester 2 in remote learning. **Students enrolled in the Secondary Remote School (SRS) will continue with remote learning as usual.
Semester 2 will begin for secondary students at 9:00 am on Feb. 3, 2021.
Course content will continue to be available to students in either the Google platform or Brightspace. Teachers will continue to provide students and families with a daily schedule or timetable that includes 300 minutes of learning opportunities, with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.
Students in Specialized Class Placements (DD classes)
The UGDSB will continue in-person instruction in our specialized classes for students with developmental disabilities (DD Classes) during the online learning period. Transportation will continue for those students.
