Wellington Heights Recognizes Pride Month
Wolverine staff and students are recognizing Pride Month in June, a month to show support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. The Pride Flag will fly at the school during the month of June to let all students know that everyone is welcome at Wellington Heights, no matter their sexual orientation, race, religion, or cultural background. Ms. Valade took a group of Wolverines to the Pride Picnic at Erin DHS on June 2nd, where our own Ms. Johnston was a guest speaker, and where students learned more about 2SLGBTQ+ issues. Happy Pride Month to all members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community!
