Wellington Heights Commencement
The 2023 Wellington Heights Commencement Ceremony was held at the school on Friday, October 13th. Graduates of 2023 were celebrated, presented with their diplomas, and given special awards. The school is grateful for the support of community businesses and organizations that provide many monetary awards to our graduating students each year. The class Valedictorian was Kailyn vanVeen, who shared her Valedictory Address at the ceremony. In attendance were Superintendent Carlo Zen and Mayor Andy Lennox, along with special guest presenters from local businesses and organizations. Greetings from board Chairperson, Ralf Mesenbrink, and Director of Education, Peter Sovran, were shared by video to students. Congratulations to all of our graduating students, and best wishes to all of them in the pathways that they have chosen for their futures!
