Although busses were cancelled, and roads closed north of Mount Forest, a set of wheelchairs arrived for VCPS students to learn about wheelchair basketball. Over the past two weeks, Victoria Cross staff and students have raised $244.55 through our Hats for Hungry Minds initiative. All money raised goes toward our Breakfast and Snack programs.
Fun Fact: In the month of November 2018, we served 729 breakfasts to children in our school attending our Breakfast program.
Attention all parents looking to learn more about what is happening at Victoria Cross P.S. We are currently using the Upper Grand app to provide information to parents about school events. This app allows you to see updates to the website as well as bus cancellations and to receive notifications
Next week an immunization letter will be mailed to 37 of our students' families. We strongly encourage all families to read the letter carefully and to act quickly on the information required. We do not want any students to miss school due to immunizations not being updated. Public Health needs

Beginning Friday, January18 we will be having Hats and Chew Gum for Hungry Minds days to raise money for our breakfast and snack programs. The only exception is the Thursday before the PD day on February 1st.
