Due to inclement weather, Upper Grand schools and offices in Zones 3 and 4 are closed today to staff and students. Students are to shift to remote learning, where possible. Staff should not report to work in person, and should shift to remote working where possible. All buses and taxis are cancelled to schools in Zones 3 and 4. PLEASE NOTE: schools and offices in Zones 1 and 2 remain open today. Thank you.

Attention students:
A reminder that exams start tomorrow. Please be in your classrooms by 8:55 a.m., as exams begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. Exam days follow your period schedule, so tomorrow is your Period 1 exam. If you are writing a formal exam, you must remain in class from 9:00 to 10:00. If you have an interview-style exam, arrive at your scheduled interview time.
If you are finished with your exams, you are welcome to stay in the cafeteria or library learning commons, but please avoid the halls and remain respectful and quiet for those still writing.Buses will be running at their regular times. There will be no announcements or national anthem during exam days. Good luck!
All UGDSB families are advised to be prepared for cold weather tomorrow morning. Please dress accordingly and take precautions with the cold temperatures. Bus families are reminded to check the Transportation website in the morning for possible impacts to school transportation: https://stwdsts.ca/.

Parents/guardians are invited to attend a free webinar on EQAO math assessments. EQAO staff will discuss math questions that Ontario students encounter when they participate in Ontario’s large-scale assessments. Students can now access their Semester 2 Timetables online through the ConnectEd Student Portal. Instructions are below.
If your student needs to make any changes, they are to make an appointment with our Guidance team. Please note that not all changes will be possible as many classes are already full. Students should try not to book during class time, especially during evaluation review time but can meet with Guidance after school and after their evaluations each day during evaluation week to make any changes.
Timetable Instructions:

Username: First 3 letters of the student’s usual name and the student’s full surname. (eg. John Smith will be johsmith).
Password: The student’s 9 digit OEN. This number can be found on a report card to the right of their name.
