Webinar EQAO Math Night for Parents and Guardians
Join EQAO for a free live webinar on November 19, 2025, at 6:00 pm where EQAO staff will discuss math questions that Ontario students encounter when they participate in Ontario’s large-scale assessments. These assessments are taken by all Ontario students in Grades 3, 6 and 9. During the webinar, EQAO staff will show how these math questions help assess the skills students are learning in their math classes. Staff will also share valuable insights from the past three years of assessment results, which can help caregivers support their children’s math learning. Here is the registration link: Webinar Registration - Zoom

I’m happy to share that all staff and students have safely re-entered WSS. We’re grateful to the fire technician for arriving so quickly to reset the panel and to the Alder St. Arena staff for their support.
Students were respectful and patient throughout, and we’re very pleased with how well everyone responded. Period 3 will resume at 1:00 p.m. to allow staff and students time for lunch.
Thank you,
Janine Grin
Principal
WSS has been evacuated due to a false fire alarm. Custodial and maintenance staff are currently unable to reset the panel and are awaiting the arrival of a fire technician. Staff and students are at Alder St. Arena, staying warm and dry until the alarm can be silenced.
We will continue to keep the community updated.
Thank you
