To Parents/Guardians of Grade 10, 11, and Returning Grade 9 Students*,
Course Selection time is coming up at CCVI! Starting on Feb. 5th, students will be able to submit their course options for next year (2026/2027) through myBlueprint. Course selection will remain open until Feb. 27th. Between the dates of Feb. 5th and Feb. 13th, guidance counselors will be visiting all classes to give grade-specific presentations to support this process.
We know what an important role parents/guardians have in the discussions and decisions around course selection and pathway planning, so we would like to provide you with information and support as well! We will be holding a Parent/Guardian Course Selection/Pathway Planning Information Evening on Thursday, Feb. 19th. The evening will include the following:
‘Choosing Courses for Gr 10 and Pathway Planning’ Presentation - 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm
‘Choosing Courses for Gr 11-12 and Pathway Planning’ Presentation - 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Representatives from various pathway options will be available in our main foyer from 6:15 pm - 7:15 pm to chat and answer questions you may have. The Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program, the University of Guelph, and Conestoga College will all be represented.

*NOTE: An alternate information evening is taking place Thursday, January 29th for parents/guardians of grade 9 students that will be attending the New Guelph High School next year. The information night is being hosted at College Heights Secondary School and will begin at 6:30pm.
