All grade 9 students in math (MTH1W) this semester will write the Grade 9 EQAO Assessment
When?
Friday, January 16 (Session A) and Tuesday, January 20 (Session B)
During math class (extra time is avalable as needed)
Details
Two sessions, each designed to take 60 minutes and done within class time
extra time can be provided as needed
Please NOTE: Any period 4 math student who requires extra time for their EQAO test may need a ride home if they normally take a school bus
Online assessment
Total of 54 questions - 27 questions on each Session assessment
Each Session has 2 stages - stage 2 adapts to individual student performances as they progress through stage 1
Classes will do a practice assessment to become familiar with the types of questions and the online interface
EQAO assessment counts as 10% of each student’s final mark in the grade 9 destreamed math course
