The SummerUp website details each of the programs offered by SummerUp and provides links which high-school-aged students may use to apply for admission. Seats are limited and we urge students to apply quickly.
A SYNOPSIS OF THE SUMMERUP PROGRAM
SummerUp was designed to achieve the following objectives:
- to offset the pandemic-induced isolation and academic disruption that defined the 2020-21 school year,
- to reduce the erosion of knowledge and skill that so often results from the summer break,
- to enhance self-confidence and academic readiness going into the fall semester, and
- to provide opportunities for leadership development.
SummerUp provides students opportunities to improve their academic performance in an enjoyable way. It’s summer learning that is challenging but not stressful. It’s summer fun but with enriching activities that will engage their imagination, touch their hearts and reinforce their self-confidence. SummerUp requires students be purposeful in choosing to enroll, and to completing their program.

- Read the program descriptions carefully and take note of the class schedules of programs. Note that each program has a unique application link.
- You may apply for more than one program. However, ensure the selections you make do not have ‘time conflicts’.
- The SummerUp programs offer a high-quality learning experience and are free to students. Therefore, students should apply if they are prepared to attend all of your program’s scheduled classes.
- Note that each program has an admissions-orientation session and this acts as an admissions deadline. You must apply before the scheduled admissions-orientation session. If you fail to apply before the admissions orientation session and should you not attend this session you will not be considered for admission.
- Apply early. Seats are limited. Apply before the admissions-orientation date for your selected program.
- Students selected for admission will be notified in writing. Students not selected because of seat limitations will be notified in writing and urged to try for other programs.
