School Council Meeting-Monday January 15th, 2024 @ 6:30 pm (Virtual)

The next School Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 15th at 6:30 pm. The meeting will take place virtually and a google meet link will be shared on the school website on the afternoon of the event. Our student destress committee will present to school council a proposal for student wellbeing and share some tips for success with upcoming final evaluations. Our guest speaker will be our Department Head of Guidance, Heather Buck. The presentation will focus on what Guidance has to offer along with information around upcoming course selections and pathway planning.

Future School Council Meeting notes:

1) Submit agenda items to the Chair -Teresa Bain at [email protected] one week prior to the meeting or sooner, if possible, OR add an item during Other School Council Business/Discussion at the end of the upcoming meeting January 15th.

2) You can raise topics for the next meeting’s agenda as well.

3) Please try to be aware of the Agenda topics and time, throughout the meetings.

4) Enter the Google meet with microphones off. The Google Meet link will be published by James Cako on the day of the School Council Meeting and can be found on the school website. https://www.ugdsb.ca/gcvi/
