On Wednesday April 17th GCVI will present our first ever full night of music at the River Run Centre in downtown Guelph. The concert will feature a visual art display from some of our art students as well as performances by all our GCVI bands, choirs, and orchestras as well as some amazing special guests. Are you interested in becoming a part of next year’s Link Crew? Do you want to help shape the future of Gael Nation? Are you a kind, responsible, and involved student in our school? If this sounds like you, then head to the AUD on Wednesday, April 17 at 11:45am for a brief information meeting. We will tell you what Link Crew is all about, as well as what to expect from the application process.

Today GCVI welcomes international award winning composer Kenley Kristofferson to our school as we prepare for our concert tomorrow night at the River Run Centre. Sr Band members are reminded that we have rehearsal today at lunch with Kenley. We are loading the truck full of instruments today this afternoon so all band and orchestra members who want their instruments put on the truck are asked to come to the music room immediately after school.
