Acta Nostra
We need help to complete our inventory of yearbooks in the GCVI Archives. If you have a copy that you would be willing to donate, please call before you arrive because this is a volunteer position. 519-824-9800 x 313.
Yearbooks were not published for the following years, but any papers or writings would be appreciated:
1934 to 1941 –
In the 1942 Acta Nostra it notes: “In 1933, the last year of publication of Acta Nostra, a financial crisis was at hand…..This year, the story is reversed…..And so as the ninth edition of Acta Nostra appears, we should once more like to thank all those who have contributed articles or helped in our organization in any way.”
1943 and 1944-
In the 1945 Acta Nostra it notes: “……this year’s issue of Acta Nostra, dedicated to the ex-students of our school who have given their lives in the present world struggle…….We have attempted in this year’s Acta Nostra to establish a link with the last issue (1942), and so maintain a measure of continuity in the record of events which have taken place in our school between the two publications.”
