College Heights Secondary School (CHSS) students have built 50 doghouses, which were shipped to Northern Ontario Aboriginal communities in a unique partnership with the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), Habitat for Humanity and the Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB).
To complete this project, the Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) students in grades 11 and 12 were given free supplies from IFAW donation funding, and set up an assembly line to build the doghouses as part of their final exam.
