LIBRARY SIGN-OUTS:
- Books: You must use your student card or timetable.
- Chromebooks: Only use current student cards.
- Archives: By request.
LIBRARY DUE DATES:
- Fiction & paperbacks: 3 weeks
- Selected fiction books in the Pit: Romance, War Stories, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror and Suspense.
- ELL (English Language Learners)
- Non Fiction: 3 weeks
- Reference: overnight
- Videos: 1 week
- Graphic Novels: 1 week
- Magazines: 1 week
- Text books: 1 semester or at your teacher request
- Chromebooks: In library use only
- Archive Material: for use in library only
YOUR LIBRARY ACCOUNT: You can view your library account. Go to the Library Catalogue and type in your school barcode number (include dashes) from your student card in the “My Account” line at the top right. Through your library account you can view when items are due, renew items (only if they are not already overdue), put a hold on an item, see what fines you have, and see what books are already on hold.
RENEWING BOOKS: Please go to the library circulation desk for assistance if there is a reason your book(s) will not renew through your library account.
OVERDUE FINES: Do not let your books go overdue or you will have fines accumulating at .25¢ per item, per day up to $5.00 per item. Fines must be paid before your exams begin each semester. You must pay by cash or cheque or ask us how you can “read off” your fine.
