Program for Indigenous families in the UGDSB: Anishinaabemowin Nanda-gikendan “Seeking to Learn the Language”
A new weekend program for Indigenous families begins this September. Anishinaabemowin Nanda-gikendan – “Seeking to Learn the Language” – will run on Saturdays from 9-11:30am, from Sept. 18, 2021, to May 28, 2022.
Informal survey: Are you interested in attending the Secondary Remote School next year?
All UGDSB Grade 8 and high school students are invited to fill out an informal survey to indicate their interest in attending the Secondary Remote School for the 2021-22 school year. The survey closes on May 17. Please note that this informal survey is not registration.

Draft school year calendars for 2021-22 approved
At the Board Meeting held on April 27, 2021, trustees approved draft school year calendars for the 2021-2022 school year for elementary and secondary schools in the Upper Grand DSB. The draft calendars will now be submitted to the Ministry of Education for final approval.
