To all Upper Grand students and families,
With the Winter Break quickly approaching, on behalf of the Trustees and Executive Committee, we want to take this opportunity to wish every one of our students, our families, and our staff a safe and restful winter break and all the best in the new year.
For many in our communities, this time of year is a time of celebration; however, we know that for some, it is a time of struggle. We want to extend our appreciation to the students, staff and families who participated in many charitable initiatives this December at their school; your work will go a long way for the community.
At the Upper Grand District School Board, Trustees and staff remain committed to putting students at the center of everything we do. As educators, we are inspired daily by our students; your resilience, curiosity, and passion for learning are truly remarkable. We are so proud of the progress and achievements of our students so far this year.
We also want to express our deep gratitude to all UGDSB staff for their dedication to supporting student well-being, equity, and success. As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to continue collaborating with students, families, and community partners to create learning opportunities that foster a love of learning and prepare students for their futures.
We hope that the winter break allows you all to rest, recharge, and connect with loved ones.
Happy Holidays!
