Alyssa Hill will be coming to speak to our students to kick off our Relay For Life Assembly

Alyssa Hill is Addison Hill’s sister. Addison was diagnosed with sarcoma, a rare and aggressive type of cancer that develops in the body’s bones or soft tissues. Addison faced her cancer diagnosis with unwavering determination, undergoing chemotherapy, major surgery, and intensive radiation while maintaining her positivity, humour, and “Addy-tude.” She found joy in simple moments like playing basketball, spending time with her dog Nova, and making TikToks with Alyssa and friends. Tragically, Addison passed away on July 10, 2022, just two days after her 14th birthday, leaving a lasting impact on her family and community. In her honour, Alyssa and her family continue to raise awareness and support for sarcoma cancer research, keeping Addison’s spirit alive.
