June 1 is Ontario Day. Schools across Ontario will recognize the day through age-appropriate learning activities that help students learn more about Ontario’s history, communities, achievements and contributions to Canada.
Ontario Day provides an opportunity for students to explore important milestones and the many people, cultures and communities that have helped shape our province. Activities may include classroom learning, announcements, projects, guest speakers or other school-based learning opportunities.
