COMPUTER ENGINEERING
TEJ2O – Computer Technology: In this entry level course, students build, troubleshoot, and repair computers. Students will also explore logic gates and circuits using Arduino boards, 3D printers, and other devices. Basic programming in html and Java is offered.
TEJ3M/3E – Computer Engineering: Students learn how to build, troubleshoot, and repair computers. Students explore binary, logic gates and circuits using Arduino boards, 3D printers, Laser engravers VR goggles, Drones, and other wired/wireless digital devices. Advanced programming in html, Java, Ruby, and Python will be offered. This course would be of interest to students thinking about a career working with computers.

COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY
TGJ2O – Communications Technology (Film): Students explore the world of film, television, and radio using cameras, lighting and sound equipment. Students script, story-board, shoot, and edit videos for “in house” use. This course also partners with Youth Fusion to produce content for film festivals as well as our own Media Night.
TGJ3M/3O – Communications Technology (Film): Explore the world of film, television, and radio using cameras, lighting and sound equipment. Students create videos with visual effects, graphics, sound effects, proper lighting, set design, and explore jobs in the film industry. Students script, story-board, shoot, and edit videos for “in house” use. Students also explore 360 and VR technologies. This course partners with Youth Fusion to produce content for local and regional film festivals, as well as our own Media Night.
TGJ4M/4O – Communications Technology (Film): Focused study on film, television, and radio careers using cameras, lighting and sound equipment. Students script, story-board, shoot, and edit videos. Students create videos with visual effects, graphics, sound effects, proper lighting, set design, and investigate careers in the film industry. Students also explore 360, Stop Motion, VR and Drone technologies. This course partners with Youth Fusion to produce content for local and regional film festivals, as well as our own Media Night. Students thinking about career studies in film / media / journalism use this course to build a portfolio.
