Course Selection for 2020-2021

It is that time of year when students should be thinking about the courses they want to take for next year. Guidance Counsellors will be visiting classes early in semester 2 to discuss course selection. Choices must be submitted in my Blueprint by February 21st. Students are encouraged to log into their my Blueprint account and begin to plan for next year.

Dual Credits 

Dual Credits are college courses that count on both your secondary school diploma as well as a college program. Co-operative Education

Cooperative Education is a ministry-approved program that allows students to earn secondary school credits while completing a work placement.  The program consists of a co-op course monitored by a cooperative education teacher, a related curriculum course in any subject, and a work placement.  Click here to visit our school Co-op web page.

Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM)

The Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) is a ministry-approved specialized program that allows students to focus their learning on a specific economic sector while meeting the requirements for the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and assists in their transition from secondary school to apprenticeship training, college, university, or the workplace.  Click here to visit our school SHSM web page.
