Norwell DSS is hosting a Youth Forum on May 16

PALMERSTON, Ontario – Norwell District Secondary School is hosting a Youth Forum evening on May 16. Guest speakers will be talking to students, staff and community members about social media and drug awareness.

Speaking at the event will be Steve Chapelle and Constable Andrew Pelkie.

Pelkie is a Provincial Constable and a drug recognition expert. He will be on hand to discuss drug awareness with those at the event.

Chapelle will be discussing social media; Chapelle has been an IT professional for over 25 years in various positions. Chapelle will provide examples of social media use for parents and caregivers as well as for students.

The event is being held at Norwell DSS on May 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
