How to Apply

Obtain your Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate – you must be in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers – register through www.oct.ca.

Register at https://ugdsb.simplication.com. Please call 1-877-900-5627 or email the Apply to Education’s Customer Support team at [email protected] (Mon-Fri 7:30am – 7:00pm ET) if you require assistance.

Once registered, please upload the following documents to your profile:

• Cover Letter (addressed to Human Resources, Recruitment)
• Resume (not to exceed 4 pages)
• Copy of your Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers
• Three Professional References

Apply to specific positions that you are interested in. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for an interview. You will not receive correspondence if you have not been shortlisted.

If you have applied for positions and you have not received an interview, consider volunteering in some local schools on a regular basis. This will allow you to demonstrate, and build on, your skills as a teacher while connecting with others in the teaching profession.
