How to Apply
Obtain your Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate – you must be in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers – register through www.oct.ca.
Register with Apply to Education (ATE) You can register through phone at 416-932-8866 or www.applytoeducation.com.
Once registered with ATE, please place the following documents on their site:
- covering letter (addressed to Human Resources, Recruitment
- resume (not to exceed 4 pages)
- copy of your Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers
- name of three professional references
Apply to positions as they appear on Apply to Education. ATE has a feature that will notify you by email if a position is posted that you are qualified for and ATE will give a confirmation.
Once the posting closes, the Principal will shortlist and contact the successful candidates for an interview.
Principals are responsible for hiring at their schools. Principals and the Human Resources department are responsible for hiring OT Roster and LTO List candidates.
You will not receive correspondence if you have not been shortlisted.
If you have applied for positions and you have not received an interview or have not received any correspondence from the Principal, consider volunteering.
