How to Apply

Openings in the Elementary and Secondary Occasional Teachers’ Roster (supply list) will be posted when the Upper Grand District School Board needs to update its lists. Occasional Teaching jobs are advertised on Apply to Education (https://ugdsb.simplication.com)

Please post the following documents on ATE:

• Cover Letter (addressed to Human Resources, Recruitment)
• Resume (not to exceed 4 pages)
• Copy of your Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers
• Three Professional References

You must be a member in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. After the posting is closed, the Occasional Teacher Hiring Committee will shortlist candidates. We thank all applicants for their interest in the Upper Grand District School Board and wish to advise you that only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

Once an individual has been hired for the position of Occasional Teacher you will be required to provide a Criminal Records Check including a Vulnerable Sector Screening not more than 6 months old prior to the commencement of employment.
