Upper Grand bands, choirs and ensembles to perform in 3-day music festival

UPDATED MARCH 4, 2016: Due to weather-related cancellations, the final two days of the UGEMTA Music Festival will be held on March 30 and 31 at Harcourt United Church.
GUELPH, Ontario – Performers from schools across the Upper Grand will take part in the annual UGEMTA Music Festival next week.
Presented by the Upper Grand Elementary Music Teachers’ Association, this three-day festival is unique in that all performers receive immediate feedback from adjudicators who take the time to not only talk with the students at the end of their performance, but also spend some time working with the students with respect to the feedback provided. All performers attend for a half day to appreciate the work of others.
The festival is open to the public. All are welcome.
