Willow Road PS hosts solar-powered BBQ

GUELPH, Ontario – Grade 7 students at Willow Road Public School are cooking up a feast, using the power of the sun.

On Friday May 26, the school is hosting an outdoor BBQ. The students and teachers organized the event as part of an innovation project they have been working on.

The collaborative and cross-curricular project involved students researching, designing, building, marketing and packaging solar-powered cookers.

At the BBQ, all of the projects will be on display.
