Celebrate students, graduates and local leaders at the CEC’s annual partnership breakfast

GUELPH, Ontario – Tickets are now available for the Career Education Council of Guelph-Wellington-Dufferin’s Business & Education Partnership Breakfast.
The annual event brings together leaders from education, business, industry and the community to celebrate shared successes in the area of youth career development and to identify priorities for the future.
Guests will be inspired by student speakers who will reveal the impacts of programs and initiatives on their own lives while sharing their stories and plans for the future. Student speakers and local graduates will share their experiences and insights around the impacts of experiential learning and career exploration. Attendees will also learn how partners from business, education, industry, government and community are working together to build a vibrant and engaged future workforce.
Speakers include:
- Bridget McDermid, TD Canada Trust, Senior Manager, Customer Experience & Digital Fluency Strategy
- Kate Parr, Millwright Program student, Conestoga College, UGDSB graduate – John F. Ross CVI
- Wil Couling, UGDSB student – Centre Wellington District High School
The event partners are the Upper Grand District School Board, Wellington Catholic District School Board, Conestoga College, and the University of Guelph. Event sponsors include TD Canada Trust, the City of Guelph, Guelph Chamber of Commerce, Miller Thomson and Linamar Corp.
