Choir and crafts at James McQueen’s Festival of Lights

December 11, 2015

Parents and guardians from the James McQueen Public School community were treated to a festive night of song and crafts on Thursday.

Last night was the Fergus school’s Festival of Lights.

The primary choir, consisting of 109 kindergarten-grade 3 students and lead by Mme. Bennett, Mme. Arnott, Mme. Boys, and Mme. Ecclestone, performed in the gym as family members looked on.

Following the performance, parents and students visited a number of classrooms to make holiday crafts. Students made reindeer crowns and tree ornaments, while family members snapped photos.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support a great night!
