CWDHS staff work together to help those in need

FERGUS, Ontario – Staff at Centre Wellington District High School worked together to help support the community during this time of need.

Staff decided to collect donations that would benefit the local community. They reached out to local restaurants and grocery stores to both collect donations and support these local businesses.

Donations from staff resulted in a $1,000 donation to the Centre Wellington Food Bank, a $190 donation to Groves Memorial Community Hospital for the purchase of PPE and a donation of $2,240 in local gift cards to be distributed to the staff and families at Groves Hospital.

This generosity really shows the spirit of staff at CWDHS and how much the community means to them. School staff are extremely grateful that they were in a position to help.
