EDHS collects funds and goods for East Wellington Community Services

ERIN, Ontario – Staff and students at Erin District High School are working to make the holidays a bit brighter for members of their community.

Teacher David Murphy and students in his World Issues Class organized a charity drive to raise funds for East Wellington Community Services. EWCS operates in the Town of Erin and Guelph-Eramosa Township, providing a variety of programs to families, children and seniors, which address their healthcare, transportation and social service needs. 

The drive was a huge success as the school rallied together and raised thousands of dollars’ worth of goods and more than $600 in cash.
