EDHS sends Canadian Olympian a video message

ERIN, Ontario – Students and staff at Erin District High School spent Thursday morning creating a video message for Canadian Olympian and snowboarder, Zoe Bergermann.

Bergermann is an Erin DHS graduate; she is representing Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. Bergermann grew up in Erin, Ontario, and currently resides in British Columbia. This year will be Bergermann’s first time competing at the Olympics, she is competing in the Snowboard Cross event.

Students and staff wanted to wish Zoe well at the Olympics and decided to do it in the form of a video message. The message will be forwarded to Zoe to wish her well and express how proud the school is to see one of their own on the world stage.

According to EDHS principal Stephen Gayfer, the school’s message is Small School, Big Noise! Way to go Zoe and let’s go Canada!
