Everyday Heroes Announced for 2012

GUELPH, Ontario — The Upper Grand District School Board is proud to announce the winners of its 2012 Everyday Hero Awards.

The annual awards, now five years old, celebrate the unsung heroes of the school system who go out of their way to make a difference in the lives and learning of students.   This program is sponsored by the board’s trustees.

At the Awards Ceremony this evening (Wednesday, May 30) beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the E. L. Fox Auditorium at John F. Ross CVI, Meyer Drive, Guelph the board will honour nine individuals and one group as this year’s Everyday Heroes. Entertainment will be provided by T. E. M. P.O. from Erin District High School under direction of teacher Brett Girvin. A reception will follow in the school’s cafeteria.
