GCVI original video wins award at Ontario Student Leadership Conference

Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute has won an award at the 37th annual Ontario Student Leadership Conference (OSLC).

The three-day conference, held earlier in November in Niagara Falls, brings together students and teachers from across the province to inspire and educate through a series of guest speaker presentations.

A relatively recent addition to the conference is the “OSLCars” film festival, now in its fifth year. Each school can submit one original video in the categories of Best Musical, Best Use of Conference Theme, Best Representation of Your School and Best Overall Film.

GCVI picked up the award for Best Representation of Your School; you can view the winning video here. 

At the 2014 conference, GCVI won for Best Overall Film.
