GCVI students host Fleetwood Mac inspired music night

GUELPH, ON – Are you looking for something fun to do on Saturday, January 20, 2024? Look no further. The Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute guitar and vocal classes, along with other keen student musicians from GCVI will be led by GCVI music teacher Lane Osborne for a fun evening of music. Also featured during the performance will be Guelph Mayor Cam Guthrie on drums.

This musical fundraiser will feature Fleetwood Mac’s album “Rumours” from start to finish. The show will be about an hour long including a 15-minute intermission.

According to Osborne, “This show encompasses all of our music students from our absolute beginners to our seasoned pros.” She continued to say that, “It would be great if the newbies had a very appreciative audience to bolster their confidence and love of performing.”

Admission to the show is pay what you can, and all proceeds will be donated to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada which is in Puslinch, Ontario.

The doors at the GCVI auditorium will open at 6:30pm and the show will begin at 7:00pm.
