Guelph student takes on Everesting 2020 cycling challenge

GUELPH, Ontario – A high school student in Guelph has accomplished an impressive feat.

Kiara is a 16-year-old Grade 11 student at Centennial CVI. An avid cyclist, Kiara found herself looking for a challenge, with most races and competitions cancelled this year. 

She heard about Everesting 2020, which involves climbing more than 8,848 meters (the height of Mount Everest) on her bike in less than 24 hours, and decided to take part.
