June 12, 2019

ROCKWOOD, Ontario – On June 12, students, staff, parents and members of Guelph Eramosa Town Council celebrated at the Harris Mill Public School ground breaking for their new play structure.

Over the last 5 years, the school has been hard at work fundraising and planning for a new play structure. Principal Donna McMillan said that this day would never have come without the fundraising support of so many parents, teachers, students and community members.

Piped in by a bagpiper, students assembled on spot of the future play structure to hear the words they had been waiting – the contractor is going to start building!

Following words from McMillan, Mayor Chris White spoke to the group to express his excitement over what this play structure will mean for the school and community.
