John McCrae PS hosts annual Snowman Run

December 20, 2018

GUELPH, Ontario – An annual tradition had Guelph students and staff out on the trails this week.

John McCrae Public School participated in their third annual Snowman Run at the school on December 19.

The idea of the Snowman Run started as the school’s December character education activity and developed into a fun event that students look forward to each year. During the run, students and staff take to the trails and participate in snowman challenges along the way.

Once students and staff reach the end of the run, everyone participates in a hot chocolate social in the schoolyard. In order to reduce environmental impact, all students brought a reusable mug with them for the hot chocolate social.

Students were very excited to participate in this fun activity right before they break for the holidays.
