Sir Isaac Brock celebrates outdoor classroom on National Tree Day

On Wed. Sept. 23, students, staff, parents and community members gathered at Sir Isaac Brock Public School in Guelph to celebrate the grand opening of a new outdoor classroom.

With the help of volunteers and donations, new trees were planted and a path was installed leading to the classroom area, just in time for the opening ceremony on National Tree Day.

Sir Isaac Brock was the recipient of a grant from Landscape Ontario (Waterloo Chapter). School families had also been working hard over the past few years to raise funds for an extensive greening project.
