Trustees praise performance and objectives of UGDSB Senior Administration

GUELPH, Ontario – At the August meeting of the Upper Grand District School Board, trustees were presented a report detailing the objectives and achievements of UGDSB senior staff.

Senior Staff Objectives and Achievements

Trustees commended the achievements over the past school year of the board’s senior administrators. As part of the performance appraisal policy for the 10 senior staff members, the report highlights the various successful undertakings in areas including:

As well as the noted objectives and achievements, the senior administration was involved in the successful coordination and management of elementary and secondary schools, environmental issues, staff wellness initiatives, and planning activities such as boundary reviews.

Trustees also expressed appreciation to the senior staff for their leadership at a provincial level.

Director’s Performance Appraisal

At the meeting, trustees commended the board’s Director of Education, Martha Rogers, on her exceptional leadership skills and her senior administrative team. The vote on her performance appraisal was unanimous.
