Upper Grand staff raise over $4K at Heart & Stroke Big Bike event

GUELPH, Ontario – Staff from the Upper Grand District School Board took to the streets to raise money for the Heath & Stroke Foundation.

On Tues. June 7, board employees participated in the Hearth & Stroke Big Bike ride in Guelph. The team hopped on the 29-seat Big Bike for a 20 minute ride in Guelph’s south end.

The team of enthusiastic riders each raised money to support heart diseases and stroke research. The original goal was to raise $1,500 – the team pulled in an amazing $4,150.

Thank you to all of those who participated and donated to the cause.
