WHSS construction class builds picnic tables for the school

Whss TablesStudents and staff at Wellington Heights Secondary School put their talents to work to benefit the school. 

WHSS’s Head of Technology, Jeff Verbeek, and his construction class built six picnic tables for students and staff to enjoy outside the school.  Mr. Verbeek took the initiative to build the tables and the students built them as part of their class.

On Monday, they were placed on the school’s front lawn. Staff and students have been enjoying the new additions to the school grounds as a lovely place to enjoy their lunch or break outside.
