6 UGDSB students starting Linamar apprenticeship program

GUELPH, Ontario – On June 21, Linamar Corporation in Guelph held a reception to honour graduating high school students who have been selected for the Linamar apprenticeship program.
The reception was held at the Frank Hasenfratz Centre of Excellence in Manufacturing in Guelph. Of the students honoured, six of the high school graduates are Upper Grand DSB students.
Upper Grand DSB students celebrated at the reception were from four UGDSB secondary schools.
Apprenticeship opportunities went to Centre Wellington DHS students Austin B. and Mackenzie B., John F. Ross CVI students Aaron E. and Josh M., Orangeville DSS student Nikolas L. and Wellington Heights SS student Nathan M.
The UGDSB congratulates all students starting apprenticeships with Linamar and wish you the best of luck in your post-secondary field.
