COIN contest winners Eric, Claire and Helen.

Three Centennial CVI students have scored top marks in the COIN contest sponsored by Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Ontario.

Tied for first place was Claire P. who wins $1,500 for herself and $1,500 for Centennial. Claire was second in Ontario at last year’s COIN Contest. Eric Z. was tied for seventh place in the province and Helen H. was tied for 10th place. Each of these students received $100.

All three CCVI winners are off to university destinations in the fall, entering programs in Business or Accounting.

Approximately 15 CCVI students entered in the contest, which is open to any Ontario high school student. They answered 75 multiple choice questions in a 90-minute test conducted simultaneously at a dozen post-secondary institutions across Ontario on May 20, 2015. The photo was taken at the Awards Luncheon on June 9 in Toronto.

Congratulations Claire, Eric and Helen!
