Math Night a big success at Mono-Amaranth PS

Large crowd gathered in the gym for math night at Mono-Amaranth PS

Math Night at Mono-Amaranth Public School brought out large numbers of parents and students.

Mono-Amaranth Public School hosted a Family Math Night on February 3, 2015 which was very well attended.

The purpose of the evening was to bring families together to learn more about math – how it is being taught and what parents can do at how to support their child.  Parents and students worked together to solve problems, review websites and books, and use manipulatives.

The evening was a joint venture between School Council and the school staff and was funded by a PRO grant that Council received.  Each family received a math kit to take home with them.
