Students lead the way with community clean-up

Students with trash bags show pride in their school by cleaning up the yard.

On May 1, 2015 all of the students and staff at l’ecole publique Mono Amaranth Public School participated in a community clean-up. The initiative that was suggested by a student.

Under the supervision of staff, students cleaned up the school yard, local neighborhood and the Island Lake trail.

Principal Tammy Fleming commented that there was very positive feedback from the community about the kids helping out in this way.
