Community celebrates Big Brothers Big Sisters Day, in-school mentoring program
Tuesday is Big Brothers Big Sisters Day. Dressed in purple, supporters from the UGDSB and WCDSB, municipal and provincial governments, volunteers, Bigs and Littles and more came to celebrate the organization and hear about the benefits of mentoring.

Nominate a tech and trade champion in your school
Skills Canada is holding a contest, recognizing Canada’s top trade and technology teachers in grades 9 to 12. Two teachers from across Canada will be honoured for their excellence in skilled trade and tech education.
