ARC public meeting at Kenilworth PS

The third public information session for the Wellington North Elementary Accommodation Review will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the gym at Kenilworth PS, 7478 Sideroad 7 West, Kenilworth. Options being considered by the Accommodation Review Committee will be presented. Parents and the community will be invited to share their concerns, opinions and ideas. CMHA offers information and support drop-ins in Fergus

The Canadian Mental Health Association of Waterloo, Wellington, and Dufferin will be holding several drop in times for people looking for information, education, or support in the Fergus community.

Drop Ins will be held on September 9th and 16th at JD Hogarth Public School Library (360 Belsyde Avenue) in Fergus from 4:30-7:00pm, and on Sept.11th and 18th at CMHA-WWD’s Office in Fergus (234 St.Patrick Street E.) from 4:30-7:00pm.

Montgomery Village PS recognized by Learning for a Sustainable Future

Montgomery Village Public School (MVPS) in Orangeville has received an Honourble Mention for the 2014 Jack Layton Award for Youth Action in Sustainability. The non-profit charity Learning for a Sustainable Future (LSF) uses the award to recognize schools that have responded to community challenges with creativity, responsible citizenship and innovative action. Minto-Clifford Public School access through the former Harriston Senior school closed

The walkway through the site of the former Harriston Senior Public School site will be closed to students who use it to access Minto-Clifford Public School beginning in September.
